Hi, I'm Summer!

I am a photographer and videographer based in Southern California whose work focuses primarily on the marching arts and school band ensembles. Through my photography and video work, I document the energy, precision, and collaboration that define these performances, capturing both the intensity of live action and the character of the individuals who bring the music to life.

Much of my work is currently self-initiated, allowing me to photograph and film rehearsals, performances, and ensemble portraits that highlight discipline and shared experience. I am particularly drawn to moments where movement, expression, sound, and formation come together to reveal the artistry behind performance.

Alongside action photography, I also create individual and group portraits that balance candid moments with carefully composed ensemble images. Through both still images and video, my goal is to preserve not only how performers look but also how they connect with the music they perform.
